Well.

I just looked at my last post and it’s dated September 30!  Over two weeks ago!  Yikes…

I haven’t meant to leave you hanging for so long.

The funny thing about blogging is you can get this inflated view of self-importance.  Like, “Oh, my readers must miss me SO MUCH.  They’re probably wondering where I am!”  And then I reality check myself that I am not THAT important.  But then a friend texts and says, “Hey, you haven’t blogged in a week, are you okay?”  And then I wonder if maybe you ARE wondering a bit where I’ve been.

So wondering or not, here I am today, with just a quick update.

I am fine, no catastrophes have befallen the family, unless you count my bruised left hand from a close encounter with a hammer and my five year old’s slightly infected left earlobe from her recent ear piercing.  But basically, we’re fine.

I have been hyper focused the last couple of weeks on finishing up a client upholstery project and currently on my piece of Home Depot’s Holiday Style Challenge.  The biggest challenge for me has been that, despite living in this house for ten months now, not a single room is completely finished yet.  So I’m scrambling to finish and furnish a space to showcase some holiday cheer.

There are a few big DIY projects in the works with that too, but you will have to stay tuned for more details on those!

I also have tutorials for you on some really cool pillow cover ideas, how to upholster a wingback chair, a gallery wall in my bedroom, a fabric feature wall in my guest room…but I have been working so hard on these other projects that I haven’t made the time to edit the photos and get them up for you.
